All-round decline on grain market

Falling trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in process of trading, dealers said. On the grams sector grams Australia No 1 dropped by Rs 50 to Rs 4350-4550, grams Australia No 1 dal followed the same path, losing Rs 100 to Rs 5400-5600, grams 50x50 shed the same amount to Rs 5100-5300, yellow peas Canada fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3750-3950, yellow peas Canada dal shed Rs 50 to Rs 4150-4350, yellow peas Ukraine lost Rs 50 to Rs 3550-3750 and yellow peas Ukraine dal also shed the same amount to Rs 4050-4250, they said.
On the cereal side wheat old and new Bardan also dropped by Rs 5 to Rs 2680-2695, respectively, other items retained the overnight levels in slow trading, they said. On the seeds side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 850 while the best type was unchanged at Rs 1000, they said.
