The Chehlum of 'Madar-i-Jamhoriat' late Begum Nusrat Bhutto was observed on Sunday. Qurani Khawani and "Fateha" was held at President House Naudero for 'Isal-i-Sawab' to Begum Nusrat Bhutto. An 'Ijtamai Dua' was also offered.
The Chehlum was attended by the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Begum Nusrat Bhutto's daughter Sanam Bhutto, Secretary General of PPP Jehangir Badar, MNAs Mohtarma Faryal Talpur and Mohtarma Azra Fazal Pachuho, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Ministers Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Maula Bux Chandio, provincial ministers Agha Siraj Durrani, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Taquir Fatima Bhutto, Begum Nargis N.D. Khan, MNAs, MPAs, members of the Central Executive Committee and Federal Council as well as the office-bearers and workers of the PPP besides others.
Prayers were also offered for 'Isal-i-Sawab' to Begum Nusrat Bhutto and the Shaheeds of Bhutto family.
Later, a 'Langar' was distributed on behalf of the Chairman of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. In the morning Quran Khawani was arranged at the grave of Begum Nusrat Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Baksh.
