CAIRO: The lowest offer for soyoil presented at a tender issued by Egypt's GASC on Monday was $805 a tonne, Cairo-based traders said.
The offer was for 14,250 tonnes of soyoil and was presented by Alex Co. for Seeds.
The lowest offer for sunflower oil was $793 a tonne for 11,500 tonnes from supplier Aston.
Results for the tender are due later on Monday.
The oil is being sought for arrival March 1-15.
Traders said the following offers were made in dollars per tonne: - ADM: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $833, 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $796 - Aston: 11,500 tonnes of sunflower at $793 - Wataniya/Cargill: 10,000 tonnes of soyoil at 14,715 Egyptian pounds ($831) - Alex Co. for Seeds: 12,000 tonnes of soyoil at 14,250 Egyptian pounds ($805) - Glencore: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $851, 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $818
