Inspector General of Sindh Police, Wajid Ali Khan Durrani on Sunday said the objective for providing modern equipment and arms to the police commandos is to improve their efficiency to control the law and order situation.
He said this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a swimming pool at Police Training Centre Razzaqabad, said a statement.
It said the swimming pool is constructed at the police-training centre to enhance training of police commandos. He said modern equipment would build the capacity of Police commandos to cope with the criminal elements. He added that the commandos are imparted training on such a pattern, which keeps them active, adding that the books prescribed for their course are also designed to bring positive changes in their behaviours.
