Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted five benches at the Principal seat to hear a number of cases in the next week starting from October 10.
The first bench including the Chief Justice, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Tariq Parvez, the second bench of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, third bench of Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillan and Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, fourth bench of Justice Nasir ul Mulk and Justice Amir Hani Muslim, the fifth bench of Justice Muhammad Sair Ali and Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will hear a number of cases fixed before them.
According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case. Besides, no adjournment on any ground will be granted.
