Zero loadshedding for third consecutive day

Power demand and supply on equalised for domestic consumers on Saturday, leading to zero load-shedding in urban areas for the third consecutive day. According to the Pepco brief, power demand and supply remained 14,385MW. The hydel, thermal, IPPs and RPPs generated 6,399MW, 1,764, 6,116 and 106MW respectively.
A total of 650MW electricity was supplied to KESC during the last 24 hours. However, industrial consumers are still facing problem in having uninterrupted power supply, affecting their production capacity at large.
