Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi Wednesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari. The meeting held at President House discussed matters pertaining to members of parliament of PML-Q who have expressed deep-seated anger about the power crisis.
According to the sources, President Asif Ali Zardari assured the both leaders to remove the reservations of their members and fulfil commitments made with PML-Q. The sources said it was decided that the coalition with the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) would remain intact and both the parties will continue to work together. Sources said the prospects of MQM joining the government seem to have brightened again. Earlier, on Tuesday Federal Ministers from the PML-Q submitted their resignations to the party leadership.
