KWSB improving tax recovery

KARACHI: The chief of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB), Misbahuddin Farid, has called for improving the tax recovery percentage to steer the organisation out of the financial difficulties and strengthen it financially.

He impressed upon the officers of the KW&SB Tax Department to persuade those consumers who are not in the tax net to pay their taxes.

Addressing a meeting of the official on Friday he said that the improvement in the recovery was essential to financially strengthen the KW&SB.

Misbah also called for chalking out a strategy and a coordinated policy in this connection.
