Director Hajj Department, Saeed Ahmad Malik said on Sunday that the vaccination and training of Hajj pilgrims would start from September 5 in Punjab under the government scheme.
He said training process in Haji Camp Lahore would take place from September 19 to 24. The training programmes would be held in 25 cities of the province according to a schedule issued by Lahore and Faisalabad Hajj Directorate. The ministry of religious affairs is holding Hajj training programmes at the district and tehsil levels.
He said that separate videos and CDs have been prepared for those pilgrims who were going through private and government schemes. He said that it is a responsibility of group organisers to arrange the training of Haj pilgrims who were going to perform Haj under private schemes.
Malik advised the pilgrims to start learning Hajj rituals besides doing exercise and walking.
