Slow business on grain market

Sluggish trading was seen on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in pre-Eid holiday sessions, dealers said. On the cereal side makai low type maintained overnight level at Rs 2125 and good type was higher by Rs 261 at Rs 2436, they said. Wheat old Bardan and wheat new Bardan was up by Rs 10 to Rs 2570 and 2585, other items retained the overnight levels, they said.
On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1150 and best type was lower type by Rs 30 to Rs 1160, they said. Rates on the rice and grams sectors did not show any change during the day, they said.
