Local police registered case against seven persons in the late night firing incident in which five persons were killed in Darya Khan Market here. Unidentified persons sprayed people with bullets at a Billiard club in Ansari market late night Sunday. Three people were killed on the spot and five others suffered injuries of whom two died earlier this morning on Monday at THQ Darya Khan.
Those who have been killed identified as Khurshid Ahmed, Rana Maqsood, Saleem, Rehmat and Abdul Waheed. Complete shutter down strike was observed in the local markets of tehsil Darya Khan. The deceased will be laid to rest after Asr prayers. Police was investigating the crime.
