Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Federal Advisor on Textiles, Government of Pakistan sent congratulatory message to Dr Asim Hussain, Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources on being honoured "Person of Merit for Mining in the Republic of Poland" by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy in recognition of his meritorious services for the development of mining industry and for strengthening Pakistan-Poland bilateral co-operation in this field.
Dr Baig lauded his achievement and said that the present gas load shedding to the Textile industry is the biggest challenge the country is confronted with. Dr Baig also said that he hope that the industry will get some relief by the said initiatives and the country will be taken out of this energy crisis through commendable efforts of the Minister.-PR
