Two dengue cases reported in Lahore

Only two cases of dengue were reported during the last 48 hours, says a report issued by Health Department Punjab (Communicable Diseases Cell). As per report, one patient Saqib Hafeez resident of Chauhan Park is under treatment at Surayyia Azim Hospital while the other patient Muhammad Nawaz is a resident of Kachu Pura. The tests of both the patients were conducted at Institute of Public Health free of cost.
According to the report, one patient each of dengue was earlier reported from Gujranwala, Narowal and Sheikhupura. The total number of patients of dengue fever reported from the whole province during the last seven months has reached the figure of 55 out of which 42 have been reported from Lahore.
