Vice President Foton Group of China Ye Zhaoyon and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah have discussed possibilities for plying public transport preferably buses in Karachi and Sindh.
According to CM House here on Wednesday, the meeting was held at Chief Minister House. The meeting was attended among others by Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Durrani, Secretary Transport Sindh Gul Hassan Channa, Secretary to CM Sindh Alamuddin Bullo, Commissioner Karachi Division Muhammad Hussain Syed, Director Karachi Mass Transit Cell Anwar Baig; Vice President of Foton Group Ye Zhaoyon; Global Marketing Director of Foton Aus Bus Zhang Jun; CM of Holloy Foton (HK) Co Ltd, Ms Lui Liran; Marketing Manager of Foton Au Bux Ms Wn Qingli (Corrine); Managing Director/ CEO Foton Pak Joseph Verghese; President Foton America Perey T. Balckerby and Project Manager; Board of Investment Karachi Nadeem Akhter.
The Chinese Foton Group discussed in detail the co-operation of Sindh government for plying transport preferably, the buses first in Karachi and then expanding to Hyderabad, and other cities of Sindh province. It was decided that the MoU will be signed very soon, while other bottlenecks and issues will be discussed and resolved.
