PPP-MQM re-alliance good omen: Elahi

Senior federal minister, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi Tuesday said that the re-alliance between PPP and MQM is a good omen, as it would guarantee peace in Karachi. Talking to reporters here, Elahi hoped that PPP-MQM alliance will last and help resolve issues.
About the rejoining of federal and Sindh governments by MQM, he said Ishrat-ul-Ibad has accepted governor-ship of Sindh and hopefully, things will move forward. To a query, he said that steps will be taken to redress sufferings of people and government will provide subsidy to people under Ramazan Package.
