Pakistan will take on Malaysia in its opening match of the 1st Men's Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament being played on September 3 in China. The participating teams of the nine-day competition are the hosts China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Pakistan.

-- Sept 7: Malaysia vs India, China vs Japan,Pakistan vs Korea.
-- Sept 8: Rest Day
-- Sept 9: Pakistan vs India, Korea vs China, Malaysia vs Japan.
-- Sep 11: classification match, 3-4 place and final.
