International Sufi conference in October

First International Sufi Conference will be held in October 2011 under the auspicious of International Sufi Council. Chairman, Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) and International Sufi Council Fakhar Zaman said here on Saturday that second and third conferences would be held in Sweden and Holland. Intellectuals and Writers from different countries would participate in these conferences, he said.
He said during visit to European countries he met with various intellectuals and writers and briefed them about PAL's projects. "European writers and Intellectuals appreciated PAL's efforts to promote Pakistani Literature and teachings of Sufi poets and to highlight a soft image of Pakistan all over the world", he said.
