The Dow Jones industrial average was up 4.88 points, or 0.04 percent, at 12,510.64. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 0.76 point, or 0.06 percent, at 1,320.25. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 9.95 points, or 0.36 percent, at 2,792.67.
