The gas supply to all CNG stations across Sindh will remain suspended for two days effective from 09:00am on Monday (today). According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the gas supply to SSGC would drop by 200mmcfd due to annual turnaround of Madenwari Gas Field. The SSGC had announced a gas load management plan after consultation of all stakeholders.
According to the SSGC gas load management plan, gas supply to all CNG stations in Karachi and the other parts of the Sindh province will remain suspended from 09:00am on Monday (July 11) till 12:00 midnight on Tuesday/Wednesday (July 12/13). The SSGC has also requested the industrial zones to curtail their consumption by 20-25 percent.
On the other hand, the SSGC has increased gas supply to Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) to 160mmcfd from 130mmcfd from 07:00pm on Sunday.
