We take the responsibility to protect the environment and minimise, as far as is safe, practicable and economically sound any adverse environmental impact of our activities. We expect and encourage our employees and contractors to take responsible attitude towards their own and their colleagues' impact on the environment. We establish clear environmental targets and develop appropriate performance indicators.
We contribute appropriate resources to country's environment standards and solutions to environmental problems. We ensure to comply with all NEQS standards to safeguard our environment. We ensure that the movement and container handling equipment will not damage the environment.
We reduce and restrict the production of waste & spillage and where possible, dispose of such wastes appropriately. We ensure that our container handling equipment are operated and maintained in a manner to make them fuel efficient and minimise the contamination. We ensure that appropriate procedures are maintained for the reporting and review of all environmental incidents and situations likely to be hazardous to a safe working environment. We ensure that dangerous cargo is handled safely in accordance with international standards and applicable recommendations of IMDG Codes.
