Restoration of telephones lines: LCCI appreciates PTCL prompt action

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has appreciated the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) prompt action in Badami Bagh Auto Market regarding restoration of hundreds of telephone lines went silent due to digging by Traffic Engineering and Planning Authority for laying sewerage pipeline.
The LCCI Acting President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad in a statement on Saturday said that the LCCI had received a number of complaints regarding heavy breakdown of underground PTCL cables and cause of monetary loss of million rupees to the area businessmen.
He said that on the request of the LCCI, the PTCL Director Lahore Mohammad Riaz and Regional General Manager North Naeem Siddique visited the affected site and immediately started restoration work and completed it within hours. Sheikh Mohammad Arshad said that the business community appreciates the concerned PTCL officials and hopes that this act would strengthen the relations between PTCL and business community.
