The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has removed the agency's additional director general Zafar Qureshi from the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam probe, a private TV channel reported on Saturday. Zafar Qureshi was the investigation officer (IO) in the case. Quoting sources, the channel said that Chaudhry Manzoor has been appointed the new investigation officer in NICL scandal case.
