Seeds prices higher on grain market

Seeds prices were higher on the whole sale grain market on Tuesday as a result of strong demand, dealers said. On the seed side rapeseeds Nawabshah was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 2275-2300, rapeseeds Dadulane also gained Rs 150 to Rs 2100-2150, Mirpurlane also rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2275-2300, rapeseeds cake picked up Rs 5 to Rs 875-880 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag best type, however, shed Rs 10 to Rs 1390, while the low type was unchanged at Rs 1350, they said.
Only one change was seen on the grams side, gram 50x50 was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 4900-5100, other items were unmoved in process of trading, they said. On the rice and cereals sides rates were inert due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
