The Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA) has passed two resolutions supporting President Asif Ali Zardari in reference for reopening the case of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto by Supreme Court of Pakistan while other against abusive language of leader of the opposition Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to President Zardari.
The 12th regular session of GBLA chaired by the speaker Wazir Baig and the resolution regarding investigation of ZAB Shaheed case was tabled by the advisor to Chief Minister (CM) Saadia Zia which was passed unanimously but the resolution presented by Wazir Hassan regarding abusive language of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan witnessed opposition of PML-Q Members which was passed overwhelmingly. The Provincial Minister for Law Wazir Shakil also presented a resolution of Civil Servant Act, which was handed over to the committee for considerations on the bill.
