Ashiq Qureshi-led Lahore Whites cruised into final of 13th National Seniors Cricket Cup (Zonal Phase) on Monday. Lahore Whites piled up 273-9 at Race Course Ground. In reply, Ali Garh Cricket Club were bowled out for 234 runs.
Lahore Whites main scorers were Ghaffar Kazmi 67, Raza Khan 49, Rauf Wyne 35, Nadeem Zafar 22, Salim Malik 20, Ahmed Shahab 19, Babar Zaman Khan 14, Muhammad Riaz Sr 12. Rehan Rauf took three wickets, while Rumail Bashir snared two followed by Shakil Malik, Azmat Puri, Muhammad Asif with one each wicket haul. Ali Garh Cricket Club fell 39 runs short despite Rehan Rauf 52 (not out), Muhammad Arif 52, Ali Amjad 37, Shakil Malik 33. Ahmed Shahab took three wickets. Rauf Wyne, Salim Malik, Arshed Rafai and Riaz Sr took one wicket each.
