Z A Bhutto's case: Presidential reference to remove stain on judiciary

Presidential reference to revisit Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto case will help judiciary to remove ugly stain on its face. People's Lawyers Forum-Punjab said this in a statement issued here Saturday. PLF-Punjab senior vice president Malik Nasir Awan and additional general secretary Rana Sufyan Arshad hailing the presidential reference said Z A Bhutto's death was a judicial murder.
They said the judges who gave the decision have also accepted that it was a wrong decision by Supreme Court. They said to revisit the case will also be helpful to strengthen judicial system in Pakistan. They said Bhutto was emerging as the spokesman of Islamic world and a visionary leader of third world countries. The military dictator cruelly terminated his life and political career, they added. It was Bhutto who gave voice to poor people to struggle for their rights, they concluded.
