Australia's Simon Taufel and Pakistan's Aleem Dar will umpire Saturday's World Cup final between India and Sri Lanka at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. It is the second consecutive high-profile match for Taufel, a five-time international umpire of the year. He also stood in the blockbuster semi-final between India and Pakistan on Wednesday.
The International Cricket Council announced the appointments Thursday. Ian Gould of England will be the third umpire and New Zealander Jeff Crowe has been appointed ICC match referee.
