US embassy condemns attack

The United States Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemns Thursday's terrorist attack in Charsadda, which brutally killed at least 10 innocent people and wounded many others. We offer our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
Today's atrocity is the second in as many days believed to have targeted the leader of a political party. Yet again, Pakistani citizens and Pakistan's democracy have been viciously attacked by terrorists who have no respect for the norms of civilisation.
