The State Bank of Pakistan, banks and DFIs observed half day on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 to watch Pakistan India cricket semi final. According to the SBP circular, the government announced half-day public holiday from 12 noon on March 30, 2011 (Wednesday) to enable the public to watch cricket semi-final between India and Pakistan. Accordingly, the State Bank of Pakistan closed at 12 noon on Wednesday.
