Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday revealed that all the killers of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto have been arrested. The final investigation report pertaining to Benazir Bhutto assassination case would be presented before Central Executive Committee of Pakistan People's Party, wherein a decision would be taken either to disclose the names of the assassins or to wait for sometime, Malik said while talking to media after inauguration of a passport office at Gujjar Khan on Friday.
According to him, all the assassins were arrested along with the weapons that they used that day. "We have succeeded in chasing the murderers of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and now highest forum of the party will decide on the future course of action," he added.
The Interior Minister said that the present democratic government was committed to solving the problems of general public and provide them all the facilities at their doorsteps. Earlier, talking to a delegation of the US Congressmen, Rehman Malik demanded action against the American pastor Terry Jones for his act of desecration of the Holy Quran.
The US Congressmen delegation called on the Interior Minister where Interior Secretary Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and US Ambassador Cameron Munter were also present. Both sides discussed the matters of bilateral interests, war against terror and regional security. Rehman Malik condemned the act of desecration of Holy Quran by the American pastor Terry Jones and demanded strict action against him.
