A social organisation, Life Development Foundation (LDF) organised one day 'Life Medical Centre' on Pakistan Day aimed at providing 24-hour free medical facilities to the poor and deserving communities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Doctors, Lady doctors and Para medical staff were present in the center, wherein patients were provided free medial treatment apart from conducting all kind of laboratory tests.
Masood Hayat Vice-President of LDF, who also graced the occasion as a chief guest inaugurated the center, said that organising such medical camps would help enable the deprived segment of society to get health facilities at their door steps. It is worth mentioning here that the LDF conducted six free medical camps in Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, benefiting thousands of deserving people.
The organisation is working in various fields ie health, education, skill development, enterprises development, environment, gender and human rights, besides establishing a career counselling and placement cell for the youth. The efforts being made by the LDF has been appraised by the educational and social personalities, as over 300 respected personalities including men, women participated in the ceremony.
Masood Hayat distributed certificates among four volunteers who participated in conducting a series of free medical camps. Abdul Latif CEO LDF has said that it is our dream to provide quality health and education facilities to the poor at their door step by establishing thousands of such medical centres in Islamabad.-PR
