Yemeni ambassadors to Pakistan, Qatar, Oman and Spain as well as the Yemeni consul in Dubai have decided to back anti-regime protesters, Gulf News daily reported on Tuesday. "After our long waiting for our homeland's voice and interest to win, we declare our total support to the youth and their demands," the paper quoted a statement signed by the diplomats as saying.
The diplomats decided to back protesters calling for the ouster of long-time President Ali Abdullah Saleh "after developments have reached this turn, which threatens Yemen, its unity and its people's security," the statement said.
