With Star Wars sequel, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ soon to come out in cinemas, OnePlus decided to celebrate its third anniversary by launching a special Star Wars edition of the phone.

Partnering with Star Wars, the company revealed its OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition that is expected to go on sale from December 14 in India for now. It will be available to be purchased a day before Star Wars: The Last Jedi debuts in Indian cinemas on December 15.

OnePlus wins charging battle against Apple, Samsung and Google

The phone’s back is painted in white with a Star Wars logo on it and its side button too has been changed to a scarlet red color. The phone is also expected to feature Star Wars’ theme in it, as the promotional picture shows a ‘First Order Stormtrooper’ wallpaper, reported The Verge.

OnePlus also released a promotional video where the Star Wars character Kylo Ren picks up his light saber that dissolves into the new Star Wars phone. The company used the Star Wars inspired tagline that says, ‘strong enough to rule the galaxy’.

According to Business Insider, OnePlus will officially launch the phone in a special launch event that would be held in Mumbai on December 14. However, it is still not known how much would the phone cost or if it would be available for other countries or not.
