NH&MP begins drive against overloading

National High-ways & Motorway Police N-5 Central have started drive against over-loading. DIG Syed Ibne Hussain said this while inspecting road safety campaign and special patrolling on national highway here on Sunday.
He said the economic growth demanded an adequate transport infrastructure and over-loading had became a safety concern.
He said drivers of over-loaded vehicles did not follow traffic rules during change of a lane which were causing serious road accidents.
He directed to patrolling officers to take strict action against those involved in violation and impound vehicles according to the Highway Code and conduct. SSP Inksar Khan, CPO Abdul Khalil and Imran Shah were also present on the occasion.
