A delegation led by Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan comprising of all the employers association of Karachi which includes KATI, SITE, LATI, NKATI, FBATI held a meeting with the Chairman EOBI, Zafar Iqbal Gondal at the EOBI Head Office here Sunday to discuss various matters relating to EOBI Act. 1976.
Zafar Iqbal Gondal briefed them about the functioning of EOBI, registration of employers and employees, record building, issuance of CNIC based registration card to facilitate hassle free pension disbursement. Chairman EOBI resolved to provide social protection to entire 39 million civilian work force and requested Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan and all association of Karachi to strengthen his hand in achieving the cherished objective.
Senator Abdul Haseeb khan appreciated the working of EOBI and urged to place measure which would built confidence of employer who in turn will ensure registration of actual number of employees working in registered establishment. The meeting was attended among others by Director General EOBI, Muhammad Hanif, Dy Director General, Javed Iqbal, Syed Johar Ali Qandhari, Chairman KATI, .
