Moonis Elahi likely to record statement by next week

Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi MPA, who was summoned by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in connection with National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam, has conveyed to the FIA authorities that he would record his statement in the case on returning back to the country by next week.
Muhammad Younis Abid, advocate, PS to Moonis Elahi informed the FIA authorities that Moonis had gone abroad on January 20 and he (Moonis) would record his statement in this case on his return to the country by next week. According to him, summon issued by FIA authorities to Moonis Elahi was received through TCS on Thursday morning and he (Moonis) was accordingly informed over telephone.
He said Moonis had instructed him to convey FIA officials that Moonis would record his statement in the case on coming back to the country by next week. Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi told reporters after chairing a party meeting here at Muslim League House that they had full faith in courts and Moonis Elahi is coming back to face the case.
