The government has appointed Asad Imtiaz Ali, an officer of grade 21 as Chairman Federal Flood Commission (FFC), official sources told Business Recorder. He has replaced Zarar Alam, who reached the age of superannuation after serving the FFC and Ministry of Water and Power for a long time. An insider told this scribe that after assuming the charge of chairman FFC, Asad Imtiaz Ali is expected to be appointed as Additional Secretary Ministry of Water and Power.
