Citi and the Citi Foundation have joined hands with the Pakistan Micro-finance Network (PMN)to launch Phase II of their flood relief efforts. Citi, the Citi Foundation and Citi Alumni have contributed over $425,000 towards the recent flooding disaster in the country.
As part of Citi Pakistan's Phase II flood relief efforts, they have launched a 'Micro-finance and Disaster Management Capacity Building Programme' for the micro-finance industry with the Pakistan Micro-finance Network. Through these programmes Citi, the Citi Foundation and PMN will impact almost 2 million micro-entrepreneurs in Pakistan in the aftermath of the floods, according to a press release.-PR
