SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down 0.27 percent in morning trade Monday on persistent concerns over the slowing domestic economy after the index closed at a near 33-month low last week, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 6.35 points at 2,308.92.
