Few changes seen on grain market

Changes were a few on the wholesales grain and seed market on Wednesday as buyers were on the sidelines due to lack of buying interest, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old was quoted at Rs 2645 and new quality was registered at Rs 2600. Gur low type did not move any side at Rs 6600 and good type lost Rs 300 to Rs 7000, they said.
On the rice counter Irri-6 Sindh shed Rs 25 to Rs 3350-3375 in process of subdued business, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. Only one change was seen on the seed side where cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type lost Rs 70 to Rs 1200 and best quality was lower at Rs 1250, they said.
