National Policy for Overseas Pakistanis: OPF to circulate draft among concerned stakeholders

The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has decided to circulate draft of the National Policy for Overseas Pakistanis to all concerned stakeholders to get their input and comments.
The 116th meetings of the Board of Governors (BOG) was chaired by one of its member, Khalid Usman Khan a Chartered Accountant by profession and prominent Overseas Pakistani from Canada, which was attended by Farhat Muhammad Khan Parliamentary Secretary, Sheikh Salah-ud-Din, MNA and Saeed Ahmed Khan, Federal Secretary of Overseas Pakistanis and others.
After getting the input from Overseas Pakistanis, the draft of the National Policy will be widely publicised through various channels including the Pak Missions Overseas, Community Welfare, Attaches, Associations of Overseas Pakistanis as well as by placing it on OPF official website.
The meeting reviewed the ongoing development works of OPF Valley Zone-V Islamabad, taking a serious note of slow pace of development activity. The Frontier Works Organisation (FWO), being the development contractor of the project briefed the Board regarding development work.
The Board also allowed the OPF management to examine the proposal for the development/construction of access road, grid station/electricity lines and gas facilities for the scheme on cost sharing basis with the management of the intelligence bureau co-operative housing society being developed adjacent to OPF Valley Zone-V Islamabad and bring the progress before the Board in its next meeting.-PR
