Targeted killings: PML-Q submits adjournment motion in National Assembly
Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) on Saturday submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly Secretariat against targeted killings in Karachi. Deputy Parliamentary Leader of PML-Q, Engineer Amir Muqam told the media after submitting the motion in the National Assembly that Karachi's control should be handed over to army because the PPP, MQM and ANP have completely failed in establishing peace in the city.
"He said innocent people are being killed in such incidents, adding politics on the blood of innocent people must be stopped." Muqam strongly condemned the brutal murder of TV journalist Wali Khan Babar and other innocent persons. He claimed, "The above mentioned three parties are responsible for targeted killing." He said, "Only army can control the present volatile situation of Karachi"
