Following transfers and postings have been made in PIA at Senior Management positions. PIA''s Director Corporate Planning, Shahnawaz Rehman has also been given the Charge of Director HR Administration & Co-ordination upon retirement of Haneef Pathan who is proceeding on LPR (leave preparatory to retirement).
Shanawaz Rehman has been associated with PIA for over 30 years and has held various key positions in the airline including Director Financial Monitoring and Appraisal. PIA''s Senior General Manager Training & Development, Khalid Iftikhar, has been promoted and posted as Director Procurement and Logistics.
He also has more than 30 years of airline experience. The airline''s Country Manager, Saudi Arabia, Khurram Mushtaq has been promoted and posted as General Manager, Passenger Sales. He will take charge of the new assignment upon retirement of Rashid Farookee by the end of this month. Special Assistant to Managing Director M Younus Khan has also been transferred as Principal, PIA Training Centre. -PR
