Many changes were seen on the wholesales grain and seed market on Wednesday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side moong from Punjab was sharply higher by Rs 250 to Rs 9750, on the other hand masoor Canada lost Rs 300 to Rs 6500. Urad Burma was quoted at Rs 3400-3800. Gur low type was unchanged at Rs 6700 while the good type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 7300, other items did not move any side during the session, they said.
On the grams side, grams Australia low type was lower by Rs 150 to Rs 5250 and best type was down by Rs 200 to Rs 545. Gram Dal Australia inferior type followed the same pattern as low type shed Rs 400 to Rs 6200 and superior type came down steeply by Rs 450 to Rs 6400. Gram 50x50, however, was up by Rs 50 to Rs 5650-5850, yellow peas Ukrain low type was unchanged at Rs 3050 while the best type gained Rs 50 to Rs 3200 and yellow peas Dal Ukrain rose by Rs 50 to Rs 3450-3650, they said.
Easier trend was seen on the rice sector, where Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 45 to Rs 3325 and the best type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 3350, other items maintained the overnight levels amid balanced demand and supply factor, they said. On the seed side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was down by Rs 30 to Rs 1260 while the good type maintained its overnight level at Rs 1300, they said.
