Haj scam: Malik submits written statement

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday has submitted his written reply in Haj corruption scandal case, a private TV channel reported. The apex court had directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to record the statement of Rehman Malik in Haj scandal case. He could not record his statements due to his busy schedule. But he provided his written statements to the federal agency on Monday.
According to sources, an FIA team is expected to leave for Saudi Arabia during the next 24 hours to arrest the main suspect, Ahmed Fayyaz.
