Fog-related accidents: NH&MP adopts preventive measures

With the advent of continue extreme foggy season, the National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) have started adopting extra-ordinary preventive measures to avoid fog-related incidents & accidents. In the past, fog has been a foremost cause of grave accidents on highways and numerous lives were lost.
In order to ensure a free flow of traffic on national highways, following rules and principle have been set, which are required to be completed in letter and spirit said Dr Wasim Kauser Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police, while presiding over a high level meeting about the arrangements of NH&MP upcoming dense fog weather on national highways & motorways, held at IG camp office Thoker Niaz Baig Lahore here on Sunday.
