Flood-hit areas: model villages construction to begin from January 25

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif chairing a meeting on flood affected areas Thursday stated that from January 25 construction of 13 model villages in flood affected areas would commence. He said 1500 villages would be constructed in these villages.
He said in model villages sewerage, schools, dispensaries, technical education, solar and bio gas plants, recreation facilities would be built in these villages. Chief Minister Nassir Mahmood Khan Khoosa gave a briefing on model villages on the occasion. Senior Punjab Advisor Sardar Zulifqar Khan Khoosa, legislators Khawja Suleman Rafiq and senior public officials were present on the occasion.
