PU campus at Jhelum: supplementary grant of Rs 70 million approved

Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has approved a supplementary grant of Rs 70 million during the current fiscal year 2010-11 for establishment of Punjab University Campus at Jhelum.
The grant would be used for remaining construction work of the PU Jhelum campus after approval of feasibility report, issuance of administrative approval by the competent authority in addition to observance of all codal/procedural formalities, so that imparting of higher education is taken in hand with effect from the next academic session ie September 2011.
