Rulers could not identify Benazir Bhutto's assassins even after a lapse of three years. This is in spite of the fact that Asif Ali Zardari had announced on the first day of the tragedy that he knows the murderers, but has been hiding them. These views were expressed by Chairman, Sindh National Front (SNF), Mumtaz Ali Bhutto on the eve of Benazir Bhutto's third death anniversary, at his residence on Monday.
While talking to the reporters, he said no case has been registered against the murderers of Benazir Bhutto despite United Nation's investigation report pointed them out. Bhutto family and Benazir Bhutto have been betrayed by 'giving their murderers high positions in the government', while police officers arrested could have been arrested on the first day of the incident.
SNF chairman said no one can stop the army to intervene but the rulers have caused such chaos that no one is ready to take responsibility but one day, someone has to come to 'clean the mess'. He further said government and MQM are exploiting each other and Zulfiqar Mirza has given free hand to the criminals that are creating problems for him also. "All over the country, provincial politics is being played and no federation can be sees on national scenario while Fata, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are under warfare, half of the Sindh has been occupied by MQM while the rest is under criminals' (control), he maintained. SNF's central leaders Anwar Gujjar, Razzaq Bajwa and Ibrahim Abro were also present on the occasion.
