Pakistan’s legend answers to Babar Azam's Test woes

Pakistan middle order batsman Babar Azam is called by many as the future great of Pakistan cricket. With a number of records already under his belt, Babar has already established himself in the limited overs.
However, despite making a phenomenal beginning in the One Day International (ODI), the youngster's lack of achievements in the game purest form, which is Test cricket, remains a major concern.
Pakistan bowling legend Shoaib Akhtar believes that Azam struggles with the close field in Test cricket. "He gets an open field in one-dayers. There are not many people standing in the circle. But he struggles when the field comes in the circle in Test cricket," Shoaib said.
Akhtar was of the opinion that if Azam is unable to find runs in Test cricket, he should change his technique then. "He should get the art of Test cricket and play his natural game. If you are not able to find the gaps in Test cricket, then obviously there is some kind of problem in your technique. You need to score runs in Test cricket and play with people's mind. Babar Azam needs to prove himself as a Test match batsman," he added.
